KHANPUR: Five people, including children, were killed in an accident in Khanpur on Friday when a car collided with a coach.
According to details, a coach traveling from Karachi to Peshawar collided with a car at Khanpur, resulting in the deaths of five people including two children.
Police disclosed that the accident took place when the passenger coach tried to overtake a tractor in front of it, which lead to its collision with the car coming up front from the other end.
Due to the accident, out of the three persons who died in the car were two children while two passengers from the coach were also killed in the accident. Fifteen persons were injured in the attack, out of which four were said to be in critical condition.
The dead bodies and eleven persons injured have been shifted to the Civil Hospital whereas the critically injured four persons have been admitted to the Larkana hospital.
