PESHAWAR – A search operation was carried out today on Saturday in different areas of Peshawar and police has arrested more than 70 people that include some wanted people and others are Afghan nationals.
A police official confirmed that these suspected people were arrested from inner city areas including Bhana Marri, Yakatoot, NasirBagh and more. Any kind of weapons possessed by these men were also collected at the spot. All of the arrested persons were living in illegal residencies and police has sent them to their respective local police stations for proper investigation.
Later, during the inspection of their residencies hundreds of bullets, few pistols and a Kalashinkov were recovered by the police.
