KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday filed a r
eference in an accountability court against four government officials and a b
uilder involved in china-cutting and illegal allotment of 16 acres of land in Scheme 33 pf Gulzar-e-Hijri.
The court accepted the r
eference for hearing. During the course of hearing, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for b
uilder Ahmed Zuhair Madni, who is absconder in the case.

uilder on Se
ptember 8 by arresting him. The NAB in its r
eference said that the b
uilder was involved in china-cutting of government land in Gulzar-e-Hijri in Scheme 33. The bureau said that the b
uilder later, with the connivance of some government offici
als, got the land allotted illegally and subsequently sold the plot to the public.
The other accused are former Mukhtiarkar Muhammad Younus Dahri, Tappadar Barkat Talpur, Ameen Nazeer and EDDO Allah Bachaio.

ptember 8, 2017.
